We Know How to Make Learning Fun For Kids
The State of Ohio requires a minimum of a high school education to teach in a preschool program. All of our staff members are college graduates with degrees in education. The staff has also had many hours of continuing education.

Peggy Jakab
Director, Teacher
Founder of Community Preschool. She helped open its doors to serve the young children in the Chesterland area in 1991. Peggy has seen many changes over the years. Perhaps the most obvious change is the fact that preschool has become an absolute necessity for every child to form the foundation needed to handle the challenges of today’s kindergarten curriculum.
Peggy loves her job as a 4s & Pre-K teacher as well as serving as the Director of Community Preschool. She and her staff are dedicated to provide preschoolers with an environment rich in materials that allows them to learn while playing and having fun.

Staff to Student Ratios
Community Preschool prides itself on small class sizes. For the 3 and 4 year old classes, we try to limit the class size to 10 children. The Pre-K is limited to 12 children. There is a teacher and parent helper with the class.
Community Preschool strives to provide a quality learning environment for all children and pride ourselves on the ratios that are maintained at our school.

Maximum group size is defined by the number of children in a group to one staff member.
