MEET OUR STAFF
Mrs. Palchick
Lead Teacher/Director
Mrs. Palchick was raised in Novelty, and currently resides in Chesterland with her family. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband Ryan and their three children, Morgan (17), Gavin (15), and Kealyn (11). She takes pleasure in watching her children play sports, gardening, and cleaning.
Mrs. Palchick joined the preschool in 2016, initially as a teacher’s aide and substitute teacher. Currently, she serves as a lead teacher for one of the four-year-old classes and also holds the position of program director. She is an alumnus of The Ohio State University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. If you have older children, they might come across her as a substitute teacher at West Geauga Schools.
Mrs. Palchick finds great joy in witnessing her students learn and evolve. One of her favorite quotes is from Albert Einstein, who said that “Play is the highest form of research.”
Mrs. Ayres
Lead Teacher
Mrs. Ayres started at Community Preschool in 2012. She was a parent and substitute teacher at the preschool before teaching. She the lead teacher of our 5 year old class.
She lives in Chesterland with her husband Marty and 2 children, Ava, and Adrian, both attend West Geauga high school. She loves all things Disney and spending time with her family and cats.
She has a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as her Montessori Teaching Diploma. She has taught both Montessori and traditional preschool. She has over 28 years of experience in the childcare field.
She loves teaching and enjoys watching the children grow and learn new things.
Mrs. DiFranco
Lead Teacher
This is Mrs. DiFranco’s first year at Community Preschool. She grew up in Northeast Ohio she currently lives in Chesterland with her family. In her free time, she loves spending time at home with her husband, David, her daughter Caroline, and her son James – all of which attended Community Preschool! Mrs. DiFranco attended Ohio University where she received her Bachelor’s degree and DePaul University in Chicago where she received her Masters in Elementary Education. She went on to teach at the elementary level for six years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her two children.
Mrs. DiFranco is excited to get back in the classroom and even more excited to have a bigger role in the Community Preschool family this upcoming school year!
Mrs. Marshall
Lead Teacher
Mrs. Marshall’s first year at Community Preschool. She grew up in Newbury and currently lives in Newbury with her family. In her free time, she loves spending time at home with her husband, Jason, and two daughters Reagan and Kennedy. She also enjoys cooking, exercising, and shopping.
Mrs. Marshall attended Ashland University, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Later, she earned her Master’s degree in Reading Education from Baldwin Wallace University. Mrs. Marshall taught at Ledgemont Elementary as a classroom teacher in early elementary grades, as well as a reading intervention teacher. She also taught a year at Precious Resources Preschool before becoming a stay at home mom to her two girls.
Mrs. Marshall is excited to get back in the classroom. She loves the enthusiasm young children have for learning and looks forward to watching her students grow.
Mrs. Tonti
Teacher's Aide
Mrs. Tonti has been with Community Preschool since 2015 and has been a Teacher’s Aide for 3 years. She is originally from Euclid, Ohio, and graduated from Euclid High School.
Outside of work, she likes to spend time with her husband and 3 children. She also loves dogs and has a Rottweiler named Sasha and a German Shepherd named Gunner. Taking long walks at the parks with her family and dogs is one of her favorite pastimes.
She is certified in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Diseases, and Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect.
Mrs. Tonti’s greatest joy is being a mom. She loves helping others and being around children, seeing the world through their eyes, their innocence, and their sense of wonder. A child’s smile is worth more then all the money in the world!

Mrs. Giancola (aka Mrs. G)
Teacher's Aides
Mrs. Giancola, better known as Mrs. G has been with Community Preschool since 2016. She is from Chesterland and graduated from Mayfield High School.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being active, going outdoors, baking, cooking, and crafting.
She has 6 years of experience working in childcare and is certified in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Diseases, and Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect.
Mrs. G loves to see the excitement on the kiddos faces when they are learning something new and also loves to see all their little personalities shine through!
